Ingredients you need

  • 1 pound/ 500g white fish fillets
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • green beans
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • red curry paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 onions, sliced
  • 1 large egg 
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • vegetable oil for frying

Steps to make Thai Fish Cakes

  • Combine the fish fillets, red curry paste, cilantro, and egg in the electric mixer till you reach desired consistency. Keep it aside.
  • Take a large bowl and transfer it to a bowl adding rice flour and green beans and mix it until well combined.
  • Using wet hands, shape the dough into small patties and dust it with cornflour.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the patties 4 at a time until they are golden brown.
  • Turn and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Drain the fish cakes on a towel or kitchen paper.
  • Repeat the procedure with the remaining patties adding more oil if needed.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dips, and garnish it with coriander leaves.

Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
