  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup unsulfured molasses
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 6 tablespoons dark rum, or more as needed

Steps to make Christmas Fruit Cake

Soaked Fruit:

  • First of all, soak all the dried fruits in a medium size bowl.
  • Place the dried raisins, apricots, cherries, cranberries, mango, and dates and stir to combine.
