A Margarita Cocktail is one of the most popular cocktails in the whole world. As everybody loves a classic margarita with a perfect balance of sweet and sour. Here’s a quick guide to the recipe for this delicious drink.
This famously sweet, sour, and salty drink will forever and always be everyone’s favorite cocktail. But while I adore just about any kind of margarita — frozen or on the rocks, tequila or mezcal, fruity or spicy or fizzy or creamy, whatever you want to name it— a classic margarita cocktail in my book simply cannot be beaten.

How to Make Margarita Cocktail?
- Sprinkle the kosher salt on a small shallow plate. Then dip the rim until it is fully covered with the desired amount of salt.
- Set aside.
- Now, fill the shaker with tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and triple sec which is already filled with ice cubes.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels well-chilled.
- Taste the mixture and add a teaspoon or two of sweetener if needed.
- Strain into a prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Serve and enjoy!
Recipe Notes!
- To Make A Pitcher Of Margaritas (16 servings): Mix tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and tons of ice in a big pitcher until appropriately blended. Add sweetener to taste, if needed, until the margaritas get to your desired level of sweetness. Serve over ice, decorating each glass with an extra lime slice on the side if preferred.
- Please make sure that one serving is 3.5 ounces (a little less than 1/2 cup) and is quite strong, delivering this traditional margarita cocktail differently from the giant mugs of diluted margaritas served in many cafes. Selecting a quality liquor is important for a superior margarita.
- Tequila is the primary component and affordable, low-quality tequila will only bring the drink down. Choose a medium to high-end Blanco or reposado tequila and a triple sec, such as Cointreau, for making this drink delicious.
- Moreover, you’ll get a better margarita with fresh lime juice. The moderate lime yields about 1 ounce of liquid, which is almost ideal for this recipe.
